Soft Launching E-MC on PIN-PERDOSSI Meeting
The official launch of EMC took place during the Indonesian Neurologist National Meeting Congress held in Balikpapan in October 2016.
The event was graced by the presence of Mr. H.M. Rizal Effendi, S.E., the then Mayor of Balikpapan, and Dr. dr. Anam Ong, Sp.S(K), the Head of POKDI Neurobehaviour, who jointly inaugurated the occasion.
In his address, the chairman of PERDOSSI highlighted that EMC introduces a computer-based alternative to dementia screening, complementing the existing manual examination process. He expressed optimism that EMC would make valuable contributions to dementia screening and non-pharmacological therapy through its innovative computer application.
